Core gameplay is balanced around item shop, which let's you to brute force yourself through every level on gold without much gold-grinding or effort. Visually and audially the game is mediocre and unremarkable, without much of content in those fields. Level-design has some effort in it, but again balance makes every level equally easy and meaningless. The weakest part is GUI\UX: it's very hard to tell which card is below the one facing you in faced-up columns, there is no easy replay button in 3-star metagame, which is a cardinal sin for this meta, game just automatically ends when you out of cars, even if you have required card in your hand to take last remaining card from the table. When you restart levels with barely-HOG-half-cut-scenes you have to watch\play them every time.But. But this game is so easy, that that doesn't matter that much, since you don't care what happening on the screen and lazily click cards which you barely bother to recognize, to kill some time sublimating your desire for productive work in order to appease you aversion for any actual work or effort, if you can't tolerate lack of any player agency, outdated throwback-to-80s GUIs and awful writing in modern big AAA and indie games without any speck of originality.. So, a while ago, one of my Steam friends bought Faerie Solitare (you know who you are). That game looked good, with lots of unlockables, achievements, and Steam trading cards, but the faeries theme didn't really appeal to me. Then I saw this game. It looked like it was basically the same game as Faerie Solitare, but with a zombie theme. I also thought it was by the same company, so it too would have unlocables, achievements, etc. I threw it on my wishlist, and once it went on sale, I snapped it up.I guess I need to pay more attention and\/or do a bit more research before buying anything. The game is *not* by the same company that made Faerie Solitare, and is in fact kind of a ripoff of that game. Although the game plays well, and there are some powerups to unlock and purchase, there are NO achievements or trading cards. The zombie theme does add some entertainment value, and even at full price the game is cheaper than Faerie Solitare, so I guess the lack of extras is somewhat justified. All in all, the game does play well, and there are things to unlock in game, even if there aren't any achievements or trading cards. So, if you like zombies and think a solitare game based on them sounds fun, go ahead. Just don't expect too much.My rating: 7 out of 10. It does what it sets out to do, but is nothing special. Buy it on sale if you like zombies and solitare.EDIT: Trading cards have been added, so I am increasing my score to an 8 out of 10.. A cute enough game for what it is; but very short. It has only what amounts to a campaign mode, where each successful game advances you through a simple story. But the replay value after finishing, is just not there. There is no need for most of the capabilities you can buy in the game store. The interactive cut scenes where you have to click on the correct object instead of playing solitaire, are ridiculously easy, and completely pointless. In this version of solitaire you move field cards onto the discard pile, which is the opposite to most forms of solitaire i've seen before. You've won if you can discard all of the field cards. It is enjoyable enough and would be fun to play occasionally if a non campaign mode had been provided. As it stands, you might get an hour or two of fun out of this title. 2/5. Buy this game if you enjoy playing solitaire and killing zombies. The humor and cartoony graphics are what make this game fun to play. You kill zombies by removing cards. You can purchase a maximum of three special cards like wild cards at once. The special cards and the search for hidden items between the levels make this game more fun to play than a typical game of solitaire. I thought this game would be really short. I thought there would be a maximum of 25 levels at most. There are 103 levels. The levels become more difficult because of the way the decks are arranged. There are also special cards in the decks that make the game more difficult. Something else I like about this game is that it was designed to work with wide-screen monitors. Most solitaire games have stretched graphics and blurry details if you try to use a wide-screen monitor to play them. Try to finish a level without buying an extra deck of cards from the shop. That's the real challenge of this game.. It's kind of cute but very pointless. The solitaire has some nice features but is far too dependent on luck. There are cute little "how would you kill the zombies" interstitials, but they are far too short, simple, and few and far between. It's a lot of good ideas but not nearly enough implementation.. It's pretty much exactly what it looks like: variations on pyramid solitaire with a zombie theme. Progressing through the levels lets you travel along the path to escape from the zombies and get to a safe place. In addition to the varied layouts of each level, there are also various powerups you can buy in the shop which unlock as you progress, and which occasionally show up on the game board itself. While doing well (making long combinations and winning the level) will net you a large number of coins with which to buy the powerups, even losing a level will gain you some amount, meaning it's unlikely you will ever be stuck on a level for long. The powerups can be anything from a single card to help you bridge a gap between the showing card and what's on the table, to clearing an entire column of cards with a bowling ball, or even just an outright "I win" button for the level that clears everything. While I felt like the powerups made the game a bit too easy, it's likely that with over 100 levels, I would have gotten bored of the game and given up before I completed it, given the random nature of the levels and the probability that I would have needed to restart many of them repeatedly to win. Overall, I'd recommend it to anyone who enjoys solitaire that wants to try a new twist on a familiar game.. Very casual, very easy Solitaire game. Rules are the easiest possible of all Solitaire games and well explained, there are powerups that can make it even easier. The game is short (I played with kids, so it took us longer to finish it), the little story bits are very short and nothing to write home about. The art style is cute. Sound was fine, but the music gets old very fast, but it can be turned off. If you can get it in a bundle or in a sale and want a game you can click on with not much thinking going on, it is absolutely fine. 9€ ist too much. The game is suited for kids/families.. A fun solitaire game with lots of power ups.
